All teams above will participate in the Pittsburgh Amateur Hockey League (PAHL). However, some first-pick teams will play aggressive AA and AAA tournaments as well as home and away exhibition series with some already determined AAA and select AA teams.
The Predators will also field two Tier I AAA Independent teams - Midget Major 18 & Under and Midget 16 & Under. Tryouts for that team will begin May 11, 2010. More tryout information is available at Ice Castle Arena, on the web at www.icecastlearena.com, or you can call the Predators Hotline at 412-561-9090, ext. 600. Players not offered a position on the AAA team can return for the AA, A, and B tryouts at no additional charge.
All tryouts will take place at the Ice Castle, 990 Castle Shannon Boulevard, Pittsburgh, PA 15234. Please arrive at least 1 hour before your scheduled time. Players should plan to attend all three tryout sessions. If there is a conflict, please specify on application.
A parent or guardian should accompany all players, including Midgets, to complete paperwork.

$300 Commitment Fee (made payable to Pittsburgh Predators). This check will be applied toward your financial commitment to the league if you are offered and accept a position. It will be returned to you if you are not offered a position or if you decline a position. If you accept a position on the team, and later decide not to play, this commitment fee will NOT be refunded under any circumstances.
The Pittsburgh Predators participate in the USA Hockey Online Registration process. You must register online and print and bring a copy of your IMR with you to tryouts (www.usahockeyregistration.com). You may begin registering online for the 2010-2011 season after May 1, 2010.
